Cold by Benetton, A citrusy, fresh scent, Cold by Benetton, is good for everyday wear and has a well-rounded composition that appeals to both men and women. After the initial aldehydic notes fade into the background, floral scents of lavender and geranium come to the surface and mix with a little spice derived from coriander. At the base, white musk and patchouli help the fragrance last well into the day and give it a moderate to heavy sillage.
Cold was originally launched, along with a companion fragrance, Hot, in 1997. They were both marketed as unisex fragrances and packaged in bottles with tops shaped like water faucets. Benetton is a well-known Italian fashion brand started by four siblings that has been making colorful clothes since 1965. The label has released dozens of fragrances since 1987.
